Specify the substrate standard and the prepainted-product requirements separately. A metallic-coating standard alone does not describe the full finished paint system. Ask the export team to confirm the exact grade, standard and inspection documents in the quotation.

Describe the final use before selecting paint. Roofing and cladding enquiries should identify marine or industrial exposure, condensation, required appearance, forming profile and maintenance conditions. For fabricated panels, also confirm bend requirements and compatibility with downstream processes.
