It is commonly used in the manufacture of steel, edged tools, etc. Its UNS number is S41000. In terms of chemical composition, 410 stainless steel bar has a carbon content of ≤0.15, manganese content of ≤1.00, silicon content of ≤1.00, chromium content of 11.5~13.50, nickel content of ≤0.75, phosphorus content of ≤0.04 and sulfur content of ≤0.03.
